TEBASAKI MUTSUMI Arrives in Kansai — Umeda Opens September 1
TEBASAKI MUTSUMI, a specialty chicken-wing restaurant serving one of Nagoya's signature dishes, will open its "Umeda" store on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in Umeda, Osaka. It is our first location in the Kansai region, and our fourth franchise location, following Ebisu — our first, opened in June 2025 — and Ichinomiya and Imaike, both opened in July 2026.
Our Fourth Franchise Location — Nagoya's Taste Comes to Kansai
TEBASAKI MUTSUMI began recruiting franchise partners in April 2025 and opened its first franchise location in Ebisu, Tokyo that June. In July 2026, a second followed in Ichinomiya, Aichi — the hometown of CEO Shota Koide — and a third in Imaike, Nagoya. Umeda is now the fourth.
Born in Nagoya and grown in Tokyo, TEBASAKI MUTSUMI now opens its first store in Kansai. Together with our three directly managed stores (Honten, Sumiyoshi, and Shinsakae), the brand now operates seven locations.
Three Minutes from Umeda Station — An Evening Stop in Kita
Umeda is western Japan's largest transport hub, where the JR, Hankyu, Hanshin, and subway lines converge. Our Umeda store is a three-minute walk away, in Doyamacho, a street lined with restaurants and bars. From a drink on the way home from work to the first stop of a night out in Osaka, we aim to be a place you can drop into without a second thought.
The store seats 12. Built around the counter, it is a comfortable place to stop by on your own.
Takuya Morimoto, President of TOBUTORI Inc., which operates the store, said:
"It is a small restaurant with just twelve seats, but that closeness is exactly what lets us serve each guest carefully, one by one."
